Richard Jenkins (“The Shape of Water”) reads John Gfroerer’s essay “In My Fantasy, I Caught Up to Reality,” about a man who takes up running during a difficult time in his life.

The author, John Gfroerer, is a documentary producer and the founder of Accompany, a production facility in Concord, N.H.

Mr. Jenkins stars in the film “The Shape of Water,” now playing in theaters.
