On this week’s podcast, the actress Caitriona Balfe reads “A Boyfriend Too Good to Be True,” a 2015 Modern Love essay about a family that adapts to accommodate the imagination of a grandmother with Alzheimer’s.
The writer, Deenie Hartzog-Mislock, was the copy director at Vogue magazine and has won awards for her work. Ms. Balfe stars in the television series “Outlander.”
