Krill is a crustacean and looks very much like shrimp. It is found under the ice tips in the deep sea of Antarctica. It is a member of the Euphausiacea family. These are small in size and barely about 1 cm minimum to 6 cm in length. Weighing 2 grams, Krill feed algae. These are the major food of whale, penguins, squids and many other marine species.
