On this week’s podcast, the actress Debra Winger reads “You May Want to Marry My Husband,” the heartbreaking essay that Amy Krouse Rosenthal wrote before her death in March.

Ms. Rosenthal was a children’s book author, memoirist and public speaker. She died of ovarian cancer.

Ms. Winger stars in “The Lovers,” now in theaters. She is best known for her roles in “Urban Cowboy,” “Terms of Endearment” and “An Officer and a Gentleman.”
