E-Cig Puts The Hurt On FDA

With a decision that astonished many of us, the Food and Drug Administration on Monday announced they would stop seeking to regulate the e-cig as drug delivery devices. They'll instead be regarded as cigarette products and fall under the jurisdiction of the "Family Smoking Prevention & Tobacco Control Act". Ratified last year, this act gave the Food & Drug Administration power to control numerous aspects of the tobacco sector such as how they promote and sell their products.
